Fui a The Grove of Fox Valley para diálisis y rehabilitación a corto plazo. Todo su equipo fue amable e hizo todo lo posible para que mi estadía fuera lo más cómoda posible. Gracias a eso, pude cumplir mis metas. Las instalaciones estaban impecables, mi habitación estaba muy limpia y también disfruté de la comida. ¡Tuve una experiencia maravillosa en The Grove!

My friend Beverly has been a resident at The Grove of Fox Valley for a long time, and I want to thank their team for their care and attention to Beverly, especially Lily (CNA). They are kind, compassionate, and attentive. When Beverly came to this facility for a tour 12 years ago, she immediately fell in love. The therapy department at The Grove of Fox Valley is great at what they do. The nurses are very helpful and give expert care to the residents. The social worker, Gina, was polite and accommodating when helping with my discharge planning. I have been at this facility multiple times for short-term care. Thank you, The Grove!

I recently spent a month at The Grove of Fox Valley for therapy. The therapy team was compassionate and worked their magic so that I could regain the strength to return home to The Vistas, which shares a campus. I want to thank Sherri, Martha, Paula, Gabby, and Noriella (CNAs), Sandra (housekeeping aide), and Dareeka (LSW) for making this a great experience and restoring my independence. I always enjoy my short stays at The Grove of Fox Valley!

The team at The Grove of Fox Valley was great during my rehabilitation stay. Annabelle (RN) and Pam (CNA) were outstanding. They were accommodating and compassionate. The therapy team was kind and helped me a lot to be able to walk again. Ryan (director of physical therapy) was one of my favorites. He was amazing, and we got along well. I also enjoyed the food. Overall, it was a great experience.

My time at the Grove of Fox Valley was transformative. After suffering a stroke that affected my memory and left me unable to live alone, my daughter chose this facility because it was close to home. The rehabilitation team helped me recover skills and mobility that I’d lost, particularly in standing and walking. Although my walking isn’t fully back yet, I’ve made significant strides. I did a lot of walking and exercise, and it was a positive, life-changing experience. The staff made my stay exceptional, and always brightened my day. The team consistently exceeded my expectations, making me feel that I wasn’t alone in my recovery. They encouraged me to approach each day with a positive attitude, and their support was like the icing on the cake. I’d recommend the Grove of Fox Valley to any friend or family member because of the people. They help you feel at ease and understood as you recover, providing a supportive environment where you can focus on healing.

I’ve been at The Grove of Fox Valley for eight years now, and over time, it has truly become my home. When I first arrived, life had thrown a lot my way, and I was facing many challenges at once. The Grove was chosen as the right place for me, and at first, I was a little nervous. But as I settled in, I got to know the people here, and things started to feel more familiar and comfortable.

The staff here has been a big part of that. They take the time to understand me, and I know I can count on them. Whether it’s making sure I have what I need each day, helping me stay as independent as possible, or just taking a moment to chat, they truly care. Over the years, I’ve built relationships with so many people here, and I appreciate their kindness, patience, and support. They know I’m outspoken, and they respect that—just like I respect them.

I’ve also made great friends with other residents, and I enjoy the sense of community here. People know me as “Miss Honey” because I believe in respect, and that’s how I introduce myself. I love that I can be myself here.

I stay at The Grove because I feel safe, supported, and cared for. My children have their own families, and they can have peace of mind knowing I’m in a place where I’m comfortable and well looked after. Here, I have everything I need—a roof over my head, meals, care, and a place to belong. No place is perfect, but gratitude makes all the difference. And I am grateful.  – Ms. Honey
